Anti-p120GAP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p120GAP is a known alias name of the protein RAS p21 protein activator 1, encoded by the RASA1 gene in humans. This 1047-amino acid residue protein is a reported inhibitory regulator of the Ras-cyclic AMP pathway. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the placenta, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Other synonyms for p120GAP include CM-AVM, CMAVM, and CMAVM1. These p120GAP antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
