Anti-FIC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FIC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ATP8B1 gene, which encodes ATPase phospholipid transporting 8B1. This protein is known to function in Golgi organization and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of FIC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1251 residues and a protein mass of 143.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ATPIC and BRIC. Indicated applications for FIC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
