Anti-CED4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CED4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CASP8AP2 gene, which encodes caspase 8 associated protein 2. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of CED4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1982 residues and a protein mass of 222.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as FLASH. Indicated applications for CED4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
