Anti-CARDINAL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CARDINAL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CARD8 gene, which encodes caspase recruitment domain family member 8. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and viral immune response, among other biological roles. The human version of CARDINAL has a canonical amino acid length of 537 residues and a protein mass of 60.7 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as DACAR. Indicated applications for CARDINAL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
