Anti-HAS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HAS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HAS1 gene, which encodes hyaluronan synthase 1. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of HAS has a canonical amino acid length of 578 residues and a protein mass of 64.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as in adipose tissue and colon. HAS is a member of the NodC/HAS protein family. Indicated applications for HAS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
