Anti-GTH1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GTH1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GSTA1 gene, which encodes glutathione S-transferase alpha 1. This protein is known to function in epithelial cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of GTH1 has a canonical amino acid length of 222 residues and a protein mass of 25.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the adrenal gland and duodenum. Other names for this target antigen include GST-epsilon, GST2, and GSTA1-1. Western Blot is the most common application for the GTH1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
