Anti-CAP43 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CAP43 antigen is another term for the human protein N-myc downstream regulated 1, encoded by the NDRG1 gene. The protein is known to be a stress-responsive protein involved in hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 394 residues and a mass of 42.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The CAP43 protein is a member of the NDRG protein family. Other alias names for CAP43 include CMT4D. Western Blot is the most common application for the CAP43 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
