Anti-KAT3A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KAT3A is a known alias name of the protein CREB binding protein, encoded by the CREBBP gene in humans. This 2442-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features sumoylated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term CBP is another synonym for KAT3A. Western Blot is the most common application for the KAT3A antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
