Anti-Syx antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Syx antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLEKHG5 gene, which encodes pleckstrin homology and RhoGEF domain containing G5. This protein is known to function in NF-kappaB signaling pathways and GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of Syx has a canonical amino acid length of 1006 residues and a protein mass of 111.2 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells.
