Anti-MT1-MMP antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene MMP14, or 'matrix metallopeptidase 14' in humans. The 582-amino acid protein is a member of the Peptidase M10A family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and membrane-associated.
