Anti-LRAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LRAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ERAP2 gene, which encodes endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase 2. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of LRAP has a canonical amino acid length of 960 residues and a protein mass of 110.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. LRAP is a member of the Peptidase M1 protein family.
