Anti-TUBGCP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin gamma complex component 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 907 amino acid residues and a mass of 103.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the TUBGCP protein family, TUBGCP3 is known to be involved with the cell cycle. Synonyms for this target antigen include ALP6, GCP3, Grip104, SPBC98, Spc98, Spc98p, gamma-tubulin complex component 3, and 104p. TUBGCP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TUBGCP3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
