Anti-TRAM2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein translocation associated membrane protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 370 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the TRAM protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include translocating chain-associated membrane protein 2 and TRAM-like protein. TRAM2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TRAM2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
