Anti-BSC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BSC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC12A1 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 12 member 1. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of BSC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1099 residues and a protein mass of 121.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the kidney and testis. This target antigen may also be known as BSC. Indicated applications for BSC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
