Anti-lin-2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The lin-2 antigen is another term for the human protein calcium/calmodulin dependent serine protein kinase, encoded by the CASK gene. The protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cellular localization, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 926 residues and a mass of 105.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The lin-2 protein is a member of the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family.
