Anti-ZHX1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc fingers and homeoboxes 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 873 amino acid residues and a mass of 98.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the ZHX protein family, ZHX1 is known to act as a transcriptional repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger and homeodomain protein 1, zinc fingers and homeobox 1, and zinc fingers and homeoboxes protein 1. ZHX1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. A number of ZHX1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations.
