Anti-HCF-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HCF-1 is a known alias name of the protein host cell factor C1, encoded by the HCFC1 gene in humans. This 2035-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and chromatin remodeling, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features O-glycosylated, ubiquitinated and cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in fetal tissues and the adult kidney. Indicated applications for HCF-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
