Anti-CD113t-C antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD113t-C is a known alias name of the protein hemoglobin subunit beta, encoded by the HBB gene in humans. This 147-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in oxygen transport from the lung to the various peripheral tissues. It is reported to be expressed in the placenta, lung, and bone marrow. Other synonyms for CD113t-C include ECYT6 and beta-globin. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for CD113t-C antibodies.
