Anti-TAIL1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TAIL1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ISM2 gene, which encodes isthmin 2. The human version of TAIL1 has a canonical amino acid length of 571 residues and a protein mass of 63.9 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the placenta and testis. TAIL1 is a member of the Isthmin protein family.
