Anti-GFA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GFA is a known alias name of the protein glutamine--fructose-6-phosphate transaminase 1, encoded by the GFPT1 gene in humans. This 699-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. Other synonyms for GFA include CMS12 and CMSTA1. Indicated applications for GFA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
