Anti-SAP190 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SAP190 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPP6R1 gene, which encodes protein phosphatase 6 regulatory subunit 1. This protein is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 6 (PP6). The human version of SAP190 has a canonical amino acid length of 881 residues and a protein mass of 96.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bronchus. SAP190 is a member of the SAPS protein family.
