Anti-SAP25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Sin3A associated protein 25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 199 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. SAP25 is reported to be involved in transcriptional repression mediated by the mSIN3A but not the N-CoR corepressor complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include 25 kDa Sin3-associated polypeptide, Sin3 corepressor complex subunit SAP25, Sin3A-associated protein, 25kDa, sin3-associated polypeptide, 25kDa, and histone deacetylase complex subunit SAP25. SAP25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some SAP25 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
