Anti-RIP5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RIP5 is a known alias name of the protein dual serine/threonine and tyrosine protein kinase, encoded by the DSTYK gene in humans. This 929-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a positive regulator of ERK phosphorylation downstream of fibroblast growth factor-receptor activation. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the skeletal muscle and testis. Indicated applications for RIP5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
