Anti-AGM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AGM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IGFBP7 gene, which encodes insulin like growth factor binding protein 7. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of AGM has a canonical amino acid length of 282 residues and a protein mass of 29.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. Western Blot is the most common application for the AGM antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
