Anti-RF-A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RF-A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RPA1 gene, which encodes replication protein A1. This protein is known to function in DNA damage pathways and DNA repair, among other biological roles. The human version of RF-A has a canonical amino acid length of 616 residues and a protein mass of 68.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HSSB, MST075, and PFBMFT6. These RF-A antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
