Anti-Y+LAT1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Y+LAT1 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 7 member 7, encoded by the SLC7A7 gene in humans. This 511-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney and peripheral blood leukocytes. Other synonyms for Y+LAT1 include LAT3, LPI, and MOP-2.
