Anti-SAMD15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sterile alpha motif domain containing 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 674 amino acid residues and a mass of 77.2 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include SAM domain-containing protein 15, SAM domain-containing protein C14orf174, family with sequence similarity 15, member A, and sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 15. SAMD15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the SAMD15 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
