Anti-TMEM233 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 233. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 109 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the CD225/Dispanin protein family. The TMEM233 marker can be used to identify Deep-Layer Corticothalamic And 6B Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include interferon induced transmembrane protein domain containing 2, interferon-induced transmembrane domain-containing protein D2, and dispanin subfamily B member 2. TMEM233 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for TMEM233 antibodies listed below include Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence.
