Anti-Retinol binding protein 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RBP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as Crbp, CRBP1, retinol binding protein 1, cellular, CRABP-I, CRBPI, and CRBP-I. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 15.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
