Anti-ZSCAN5C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger and SCAN domain containing 5C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 496 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. ZSCAN5C is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include putative zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 5C, zinc finger and SCAN domain containing 5C, pseudogene, zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 5-like protein 2, and zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 5C. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the ZSCAN5C antibodies listed below. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
