Anti-TubG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TubG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TUBG1 gene, which encodes tubulin gamma 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of TubG has a canonical amino acid length of 451 residues and a protein mass of 51.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CDCBM4 and GCP-1. Indicated applications for TubG antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
