Anti-MAGEE2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAGE family member E2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 523 amino acid residues and a mass of 60.4 kDa. MAGEE2 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include MAGE-E2 antigen, hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein 3, hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein HCA3, melanoma antigen family E, 2, and melanoma-associated antigen E2. MAGEE2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MAGEE2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
