Anti-SAMSN1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SAM domain, SH3 domain and nuclear localization signals 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 373 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in peripheral blood B-cells. SAMSN1 is a reported regulator of B-cell activation. Synonyms for this target antigen include SAM and SH3 domain containing 2, SAM domain, SH3 domain and nuclear localisation signals, 1, SAM domain, SH3 domain and nuclear localization signals protein 1, and SAM domain-containing protein SAMSN-1. SAMSN1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chicken species.
