Anti-Flavin containing dimethylaniline monoxygenase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FMO2 in humans. The gene may also be known as FMO 2, FMO1B1, dimethylaniline monooxygenase [N-oxide-forming] 2, and FMO, pulmonary. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 60.9 kilodaltons in mass. The FMO2 marker can be used to identify Brain Fibroblast Non-Neuronal Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
