Anti-GPR21 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 21. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 349 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, Gpr21 is categorized as a type of orphan receptor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include probable G-protein coupled receptor 21. GPR21 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the Gpr21 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
