Anti-FGD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein FYVE, RhoGEF and PH domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 725 amino acid residues and a mass of 79.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the spleen, lymph node, cerebral cortex, bone marrow, and appendix. FGD3 is reported to promote the formation of filopodia. Synonyms for this target antigen include FGD1 family, member 3, faciogenital dysplasia 3, zinc finger FYVE domain-containing protein 5, and FYVE, RhoGEF and PH domain-containing protein 3. FGD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the FGD3 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
