Anti-NDK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NDK is a known alias name of the protein NME/NM23 nucleoside diphosphate kinase 4, encoded by the NME4 gene in humans. This 187-amino acid residue protein is known to play a major role in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates other than ATP. It is localized to the mitochondria and membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
