Anti-LUC7L3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LUC7 like 3 pre-mRNA splicing factor. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 432 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Luc7 protein family, LUC7L3 is known to bind cAMP regulatory element DNA sequence. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include CREAP-1, CROP, LUC7A, OA48-18, hLuc7A, luc7-like protein 3, CRE-associated protein 1, and CRA. LUC7L3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LUC7L3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
