Anti-KRTAP3-1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein keratin associated protein 3-1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 98 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.5 kDa. It is a member of the KRTAP type 3 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include high sulfur keratin-associated protein 3.1 and keratin-associated protein 3.1. KRTAP3-1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine and chimpanzee species.
