Anti-DCAF6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 860 amino acid residues and a mass of 96.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle and testis. DCAF6 is reported to be a ligand-dependent coactivator of nuclear receptors. Synonyms for this target antigen include IQ motif and WD repeats 1, androgen receptor complex-associated protein, nuclear receptor interaction protein, and IQ motif and WD repeat-containing protein 1. DCAF6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of DCAF6 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
