Anti-TCF2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TCF2 is a known alias name of the protein HNF1 homeobox B, encoded by the HNF1B gene in humans. This 557-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to the inverted palindrome 5'-GTTAATNATTAAC-3'. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and gallbladder. Western Blot is the most common application for the TCF2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
