Anti-PSPC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PSPC is a known alias name of the protein surfactant protein C, encoded by the SFTPC gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 197 residues and a mass of 21.1 kDa. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the lung. Other synonyms for PSPC include BRICD6 and PSP-C. Western Blot is the most common application for the PSPC antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
