Anti-UBE2L3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 L3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 154 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be widely expressed, with highest expression in testis. A member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme protein family, UBE2L3 is known to be involved with cell proliferation. Synonyms for this target antigen include L-UBC, UBCH7, UbcM4, E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme L3, ubiquitin carrier protein L3, and E2-F1. UBE2L3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of UBE2L3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
