Anti-OX1R antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene HCRTR1, or 'hypocretin receptor 1' in humans. The 425-amino acid protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
