Anti-OR6K3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 6 subfamily K member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 331 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR1-18, seven transmembrane helix receptor, and olfactory receptor 6K3. OR6K3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the OR6K3 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
