Anti-OR5K4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily K member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 321 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5K4. OR5K4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. These OR5K4 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
