Anti-OR1F1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily F member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1F1 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OR16-36, OR16-37, OR16-88, OR16-89, OR16-90, OR1F10, OR1F13P, and OLFMF. OR1F1 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR1F1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
