Anti-LCE4A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein late cornified envelope 4A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 99 amino acid residues and a mass of 10 kDa. It is reported to have skin-specific expression. It is a member of the LCE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include late envelope protein 8, small proline rich-like (epidermal differentiation complex) 4A, small proline-rich-like epidermal differentiation complex protein 4A, and late cornified envelope protein 4A.
