Anti-DYN2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DYN2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNM2 gene, which encodes dynamin 2. This protein is known to function in endocytosis, among other biological roles. The human version of DYN2 has a canonical amino acid length of 870 residues and a protein mass of 98.1 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CMT2M, CMTDI1, and CMTDIB. Western Blot is the most common application for the DYN2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
