Anti-DUS2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dihydrouridine synthase 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 493 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the Dus protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include SMM1, URLC8, tRNA-dihydrouridine(20) synthase [NAD(P)+]-like, SMM1 homolog, dihydrouridine synthase 2-like, SMM1 homolog, and DUS2L. DUS2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DUS2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
